Milkweed Madness is just around the corner, but before we focus on milkweed, have you started thinking about other plant options for your butterfly and pollinator garden this upcoming season?

After the spring planting season is over, (June) I immediately start compiling a list of new plant ideas to improve the garden for next year.

Ideas are compiled from what I see in local gardens, and talking to other butterfly gardeners across the country to see what’s working for them….of course, not every plant option will be suitable for your region, but it’s always fun to research and learn about plants that attract and support butterflies and other precious pollinators.
