FALL Gardening...or Wait until SPRING❓🍁🦋

Good weekend November GROWers ,

it’s post-Halloween, and twin cities temps have plunged below freezing for the first time this season 🥶👻 after a record 80° degrees last week.

We had a heavy, wet snow on Halloween with 1.25” of much needed precipitation for the fall garden.

This is the time of year we rake the lawn and pull annuals, but in our tree-happy yard, we're still waiting for many, many leaves to fall 🍁🍁🍁

Until then, there's still plenty of gardening tasks to keep us busy…

FALL GARDENING TIPS

Last week, we finished fall planting 6 bare root liatris ligulistylis ⬅️ plants and today we’re planting tulip bulbs (hopefully late enough so the squirrels won’t dig them up 🐿️)
