Top NATIVE Nectar Plant for Monarchs?

Happy New Year Good GROWer,

I hope you enjoyed the holiday season and are having a great start to your 2025.

Our winter snow is off to a 🐢 start, but we’re getting a couple dustings that should finally bring us a belated white Christmas…

January is a good time to start planning your garden for next season. I keep a google doc every year called “Plants for…” and the 2025 list already has 9 new plants for the upcoming season. Without this list, I probably would have forgotten 8 of them already 🤪

One plant that could make your garden come alive in ‘25 is a tall, long, blooming plant that attracts monarchs, hummingbirds, bees, and more!

Top Hyssop for Attracting Monarchs?

This purple-powered plant is native to the eastern United States and Eastern Canada and is a favorite native nectar plant (for both gardener and monarchs) in our Minnesota garden.
